Fire Country has become one of CBS’ hottest shows since its premiere in October 2022. The firefighter drama follows Bode Leone (formerly Bode Donovan), a young convict who joins the California Conservation Camp Program and assists the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, a.k.a. Cal Fire, by putting out fires in his northern California hometown. Fire Country was created by Max Thieriot, who also stars in the show alongside a cast of incredible actors.
Max Thieriot as Bode Leone
Max stars in Fire Country as Bode, whose work in his hometown brings him to reconnect with his past and gives him a passion for firefighting. The actor made his debut in the 2004 film Catch That Kid and went on to become known for his roles in The Pacifier (2005), Nancy Drew (2007), Jumper (2008), Chloe (2009) and House at the End of the Street (2012).
On TV, he became known for playing Dylan Massett in Bates Motel and Navy SEAL Clay Spenser in SEAL Team.
Kevin Alejandro as Manny Perez
Kevin Alejandro plays Gabriela’s father and Cal Fire firefighter Manny Perez. Kevin is most known for playing Nate Moretta in TNT’s Southland, Jesús Velázquez in HBO’s True Blood and Sebastian Blood in Arrow.
Jordan Calloway as Jake Crawford
Jordan Calloway plays Jake Crawford, who went from being a Cal Fire firefighter to Station 42’s captain. The actor got his big break playing Zach Carter-Schwartz in Unfabulous. He also appeared in Riverdale and Black Lightning.
Stephanie Arcila as Gabriela Perez
Stephanie Arcila plays Manny’s daughter, Gabriela Perez, who is also a Cal Fire firefighter and paramedic. The actress is also known for playing Hernandez in Don’t Breathe 2 (2021), Mami in the 2018 series Here and Now and Bernadette in the 2020 series Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.
Jules Latimer as Eve Edwards
Jules Latimer plays Eve Edwards, who is Bode and Jake’s best friend and was once a Cal Fire firefighter. She is now the captain of Three Rock station. Jules is known for playing Joyce in the 2023 film Rustin and Tony Plimpton in the 2021 series Guilty Party.
Diane Farr as Sharon Leone
Diane Farr plays Sharon Leone, Bode’s mom and the division chief of Cal Fire. The actress is known for playing Amy DeLuca in the WB and UPN series Roswell, as well as FBI Agent Megan Reeves in the series Numb3rs. She also has experience playing a firefighter, as she starred as Laura Miles in the firefighter comedy series Rescue Me.
Billy Burke as Vince Leone
Billy Burke appears as Bode’s dad, Vince Leone, and Cal Fire battalion chief. Some of the actor’s most known roles include Charlie Swan in the Twilight films, Cesaire in 2011’s Little Red Riding Hood and Miles Matheson in the NBC series Revolution.

Some of the other actors who appear in recurring roles in Fire Country include Michael Trucco as Luke Leone, Rafael de la Fuente as Diego Moreno, Tye White as Cole Rodman, Alix West Lefler as Genevieve Maisonette, Leven Rambin as Audrey James, Jared Padalecki as Camden Casey and Phil Morris as Elroy Edwards.
Morena Baccarin also has a recurring role as Sheriff Mickey Fox, who will lead a Fire Country spinoff called Sheriff Country in the fall of 2025.
