The following contains spoilers for Tracker Season 3, Episode 7, “Eat the Rich,” which aired on Sunday, November 30, on CBS.
As Colter looks for Noelle Buchanan (Madalyn Horcher), someone stays one step ahead of him, attempting to end his life due to his accidentally interfering with the family’s operations. While Shaw lives to see another day, he has to walk away from some despicable crimes that occur, so it’s more than likely his proper foe will make another appearance.
Who Is MC In Tracker Season 3? Italia Ricci’s Character Explained

The introduction of Colter’s new rival in Tracker Season 3, Episode 7, has many asking about who MC is. Canadian-American actor Italia Ricci plays the new Tracker character. Before her performance in the CBS series, Ricci was perhaps best known for her role alongside Kiefer Sutherland as Emily Rhodes in Designated Survivor, an ABC/Netflix political drama.
Ricci’s character debuts in “Eat the Rich,” as MC is the Benning clan’s go-to fixer, responsible for making their problems go away. Colter’s investigation leads him to the family. While he and his team initially suspect the clan’s son, Graham (Tyler Johnston), it turns out that Benning Jr. wants nothing to do with her kidnapping, and MC is responsible.
Shaw and his team eventually discover that Noelle Buchanan witnessed a murder on the night she was taken, and the Benning family wanted to kill her to keep her from reporting it. After Noelle went to a lawyer, Ricci’s Tracker character kidnapped her and drugged her to keep her from talking, planning to murder her, but Colter disrupted the plan.
MC, a woman in her 30s or 40s, ultimately kills Gene Benning’s (Clay St. Thomas) son, Graham, when he becomes determined to turn himself in to the authorities, saving Noelle’s life by coming clean. However, MC kills Graham Benning to keep him silent, murdering one of the family’s most vital members to preserve their standing, proving how ruthless MC is.
Colter Shaw’s Case Isn’t Resolved In Tracker Season 3, Episode 7

Colter reaches Noelle in time, and MC is ultimately happy that Shaw intervenes, since she has executed an incriminating backup plan. Therefore, the story in the latest Tracker episode is far from resolved. While Noelle reunites with her father, Dale (Benito Martinez), there’s still a killer on the loose, with MC getting away with Graham Benning’s murder.
Colter has to walk away from MC’s crimes since she covers up her tracks expertly. However, Shaw tells the Benning fixer that he has no intention of forgetting what she did and hopes to be there when she slips up. Colter’s feelings about the case remain unresolved, opening up a larger conflict and story that will continue to play out.
It’s rare for Colter that the episode’s conclusion doesn’t fully resolve a case. There are only a few cases Shaw hasn’t been able to solve quickly throughout Tracker’s high-stakes episodes, and the ones that he can’t bring to a close keep him up at night. For instance, Gina Picket’s case and his father’s own mystery have haunted Colter.
While his case in “Eat the Rich” is technically over, since he found out what happened to his missing person, Graham’s death will still keep Colter up at night. Now that he knows a wealthy family in Boston is getting away with murder, it seems highly unlikely that Shaw will forget what happened or stop trying to make it right.
Will Italia Ricci’s MC Return To Tracker Season 3?

With the way Colter left things in Episode 7, it seems likely that Ricci’s MC character will return in Tracker Season 3. While she gets away with her crimes, Colter won’t be able to forget what MC did to two vulnerable young adults, foreshadowing that he might be around to catch her slip-up in the future.
Colter’s ominous comments to MC could be foreshadowing, suggesting that perhaps Shaw will have his team members keep eyes on the clan’s fixer until he knows that she is safely behind bars. It’s the first time Tracker has brought in a fixer character, or the first time Colter has encountered an influential crime family, making for an interesting mash-up.
Perhaps a case will take Colter to Boston, or the rewardist will find another reason to check in with MC and Gene Benning. As Colter begins to resolve Ashton Shaw’s mystery, Tracker probably intends to plant other overarching stories to draw out the conclusion of what happened to Colter’s father, keeping Colter occupied and audiences hooked on different stories.
