Who Made It to Hometowns on The Golden Bachelor? Mel’s Shocking Cuts Revealed md18

This season of “The Golden Bachelor” is heating up quickly, with Mel’s dating pool already down to just three women after last night’s fourth episode. And those three lucky ladies will be taking Mel home to meet their families on next week’s hometowns episode.

“Mel faces his toughest choice yet as he decides which three women will earn a coveted rose and introduce him to their families. At the Butterfly Mountain wellness retreat, a transformative group date brings unexpected shifts as true colors begin to emerge amid mud baths, cold plunges and tantric yoga,” the description for last night’s episode said.

“Next, a magical one-on-one date beneath the stars at Griffith Observatory deepens connections. Later, Mel seeks guidance from Jesse as he wrestles with the strong bonds he’s built and the difficult farewells that lie ahead.”

There were three dramatic exits last night, as Mel narrowed down his options from six to just three women. One of the women sent herself home, and the other two were eliminated by Mel in the rose ceremony.

After causing such a stir with the women and bragging on the newfound fame she expects to encounter from her exposure on the show, did Florida resident Nicolle make it into the Top 3?

Here’s what you missed on “The Golden Bachelor” episode four last night, how to stream the show and the list of women still in the running to win Mel’s heart at hometowns next week.

Who made it to hometowns on ‘The Golden Bachelor’? Florida’s Nicolle missed the mark

Floridian Nicolle ultimately didn’t make it to hometown dates, which will air next week, on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

If you missed last week, she began her short “villain” arc on the show by ruffling plenty of feathers among the women in the house. Ahead of last week’s group date, Nicolle was talking to a small group of the other women about how she’s “not dating Mel, (she’s) dating America.” She said being on the show would give her a lot of exposure.

Then, Nicolle told them that she thought they would achieve fame like the casts of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” franchise, mentioning that this “Golden Bachelor” season’s cast would fare better outside the show, since last season’s group of women “weren’t so good looking,” in her opinion.

She was also on the group date on last night’s episode, in which Mel and some of the women went on a day trip to a wellness retreat. Each of them got one-on-one time with him during the date. When it was Nicolle’s turn, they did a tarot card reading.

Later in the episode, Mel sent Nicolle home during the rose ceremony, which surprised her, as she thought she was a sure-fire option for hometown dates.

“It’s really important to me that he gets to know you,” she told one of her close friends on a video chat before the rose ceremony. “I’m just so excited that he’ll get to come to Miami and you’ll be there.”

“When it doesn’t work out with the one you pick, because it probably won’t, you call me,” she confidently told Mel before getting into the black SUV that would escort her to the airport.

“I’m a little surprised at this outcome,” she said in the car. “I really thought it was going to be my name. It should have been, but that’s OK, because it’s just the universe’s way of saying there’s something better for me just around the corner …”

She then set her sights on future opportunities within ABC’s “Golden” franchise.

“Mel didn’t choose me, but maybe you’ll choose me for ‘The Golden Bachelorette,'” she said. “You never know.”

Who got the one-on-one date on ‘Golden Bachelor’ last night?

Cindy, 60, a retired biomedical engineer from Austin, Texas, is the lucky lady who got this week’s one-on-one. Cindy and Mel rode horses up to the iconic Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, where they had a picnic on the lawn.

Cindy opened up to Mel about her first marriage and her divorce. She explained that it’s been difficult for her to get close to someone after her divorce, but that she’s ready to jump back in, saying she was determined to let that go coming into this process.

“I am shocked to be feeling the way I’m feeling,” she told Mel. “My feelings for you are real.”

She told him that if she were to make it to her hometown (and she did), that Mel would be meeting her three daughters. Mel gave her a rose and they danced under the stars on the terrace of the observatory.

“He’s the sun, the moon and the stars for me, all wrapped up into one,” she said in a confessional.
