Here’s what we know about who wins ‘The Golden Bachelor’ season 2 in 2025, and who we want to win.
Mel Owens is a former NFL player turned lawyer who is the lead of season 2 of The Golden Bachelor. He has narrowed his field down to three lucky ladies for Hometown Dates this week, October 22:
- Cindy Cullers, the 60-year-old retired biomedical engineer from Austin, Texas.
- Peg Munson, the 62-year-old retired firefighter and bomb technician from Las Vegas, Nevada.
- Debbie Siebers, the 65-year-old fitness professional from Little Chute, Wisconsin.
Reliable reality spoiler guru Reality Steve has dished a little dirt on Mel’s season, the finale of which is airing in two weeks.
We want to issue two warnings first: Reality Steve is almost always right, but not always, so take this with a grain of salt; and obviously, spoilers ahead. So if you don’t want to know the spoilers, stop reading.
Who will be The Golden Bachelor season 2 final two?
So, here’s the interesting part — Reality Steve doesn’t have spoilers for this season. He said on his podcast, “This is the first season…since 2009 where a season started of either the Bachelor, Bachelorette, Golden Bachelor, Golden Bachelorette, and I knew absolutely nothing.”
But he went on to say that he felt like based on the amount of camera time Cindy has been getting, that she’s in the final 2, and we agree with that.
If I had to predict, I think Cindy and Peg are going to be the final two. That’s based on the fact that it feels like they have gotten way more camera time than Debbie. It feels a little like we don’t know Debbie as well as the other two.
Who will win The Golden Bachelor season 2 in 2025?
Nobody seems to know for sure, but fans seem to think Cindy will win, and that feels like a solid prediction. Obviously, we will update this if Cindy goes home after Hometown Dates, but we feel pretty confident predicting that it’s Peg and Cindy in the finale and that Cindy is the winner.
Which would actually be great because Peg would make an excellent Golden Bachelorette. We have said that we think either Peg or Cheryl should be the next lead if they continue the Golden series. According to our poll, fans agree — Cheryl is leading the vote with 36 percent and Peg is second with 26 percent.
What do we know about Cindy Cullers?
We know she’s a mother to three daughters and lives in Texas, where she loves to do outdoorsy activities.
“The mom of three is embracing a ‘say yes’ mindset, which is how she ended up here on The Golden Bachelor. While Cindy loved working in medical aesthetic sales, she’s now living her best life hiking, paddleboarding, and enjoying everything Austin, Texas, has to offer. She isn’t on dating apps and prefers to look for love ‘in the wild.’ She’s searching for a lifelong bond — her grandfather lived to be 105, so Cindy is just getting the party started,” reads her bio for ABC.
Her fun facts include that her signature cocktail is a recipe she invented herself called a “Green Lizard” and she once dated Chuck Norris, which is kind of amazing.
The Golden Bachelor season 2 airs Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ABC and streams the next day on Hulu. The 22nd season of The Bachelorette is premiering this winter with Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul as the lead.
