Severide finds ghost guns in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 6. Pascal doesn’t want to look into them.
Severide will always do the right thing when it comes to the law. Why is Pascal holding him back in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 6?
There are a lot of secrets in Pascal’s life. He doesn’t want the firehouse to know too much about him or his past. We know a little, but there’s still a lot unknown, and it looks like some of it will come up in the new episode. There’s an element of fear on his face, and we want to know why.
Severide works with the Illinois State Police in Chicago Fire season 13, episode 6
We usually see Severide working with Intelligence or another part of Chicago PD. This time, the State Police will come in to deal with the situation. Severide will work closely with the cops as they investigate something Severide finds on a call. There are ghost guns. That means guns without serial numbers. There is no way to track where they came from or who they belong to, which means they’ll be used for a crime or two.
However, Pascal wants Severide to stand down from the investigation. There’s a look from someone in the promo, and from that comes a hint of fear. Is Pascal being blackmailed into preventing Severide from investigating the guns? Is this linked to whatever happened in Miami?
Meanwhile, there’s more Carver drama. His attitude at work is getting worse. That’s not surprising with everything going on in his personal life, but Kidd has just dealt with proving to Pascal that she’s a great lieutenant. She doesn’t need Carver creating a new situation for her. So, she needs to keep a close eye on him.
As for the humor in the episode, Mouch will get that. There’s a bird on the apparatus floor that is going to taunt him. If you’ve ever dealt with a bird where it’s not supposed to be, you just know how annoying it is but also how hilarious it’s about to turn out.

Images for Chicago Fire season 13, episode 6
The images don’t give us a lot to work with. They are mostly focused on one of the calls for the night, which is likely when Firehouse 51 finds the ghost guns.
There are a couple with Violet and Novak working together. Their partnership has become a great look at how women can support each other, whether it’s to have their back at work or just to help them move on when love goes wrong. I look forward to seeing more of them working together in this episode.
Chicago Fire airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on NBC. Catch up the following day on Peacock.
