Will there be a season 4 of ‘Fire Country?’

The “Fire Country” season 3 finale is just around the corner, but is the CBS series returning for a fourth season

Yes, “Fire Country” has been renewed for season 4, which will premiere in the fall of 2025. CBS made the announcement in February, simultaneously renewing “Elsbeth,” “Tracker,” “NCIS,” and its spinoffs “NCIS: Origins” and “NCIS: Sydney.”

Deadline reported at the time that “Fire Country” was averaging 10.6 million multi-platform viewers per episode with streaming alone.

The action drama series, which debuted in 2022, stars Max Thieriot as Bode Leon (a.k.a Bode Donovan), a Cal Fire firefighter. When the show began, Bode was an incarcerated firefighter, but he was released from prison during season 2

In addition to Thieriot, “Fire Country” stars Kevin Alejandro (Manny Perez), Jordan Calloway (Jake Crawford), Stephanie Arcila (Gabriela Perez), Jules Latimer (Eve Edwards), Diane Farr (Sharon Leone), and Billy Burke (Vince Leone).

The “Fire Country” two-hour season 3 finale airs on Friday, April 25. A logline for part 1 reads, “When a fire erupts at a gas station, Bode and Manny jump into action to protect the patrons and property.”

The synopsis for part 2 of the finale teases “extremely high winds and dangerous conditions” that threaten the care facility where Bode’s grandfather Walter (Jeff Fahey) lives.

“The two-hour finale this year is pretty special,” Thieriot said during an interview with Us Weekly earlier this month. “We have some crazy awesome action stuff. … We definitely end with a boom.”

“Fire Country” is so popular with fans that a spinoff titled “Sheriff Country” is set to debut this fall. The series will star Morena Baccarin as Mickey Fox, Edgewater County Sheriff’s Sergeant.

“Fire Country” viewers were introduced to Mickey during season 2 when she reunited with her stepsister Sharon. She returned for an episode in season 3 to investigate the attempted murder of her estranged father with Bode.
