You’d Better Go Home Right Now… Because Fuller House Is Waiting for You ng01

iIf you’re reading this somewhere outside your house… consider this your official warning: go home immediately and watch Fuller House. Your couch misses you.

The Tanner Family Is Back (And Slightly Louder Than Before)

The long-awaited return of the Tanner family has officially arrived, and fans of Full House finally get to step back inside the most famous living room in sitcom history.

Leading the revival is Candace Cameron Bure, who returns as D.J. Tanner-Fuller. This time, however, DJ isn’t the kid running around the house anymore—she’s the widowed mother of three boys trying to keep life under control.

Luckily, she’s not doing it alone.

Her sister Stephanie Tanner (played by Jodie Sweetin) and the eternally chaotic best friend Kimmy Gibbler (played by Andrea Barber) move into the Tanner house to help raise the kids.

Which means one thing: the house just became about 300% louder.

Behind the Scenes: Pure Nostalgia and Chaos

In a behind-the-scenes sneak peek shared by Candace Cameron Bure, fans get a glimpse of the cast reuniting, reading scripts together, and trying to remember where everything is on the set after all these years.

At one point the announcer perfectly summarizes the moment:

“Ladies and gentlemen… 30 years in the making: Fuller House.”

And honestly? That line alone might make longtime fans emotional.

According to Bure, the reboot captures the same feeling that made the original show special.

Fuller House carries the same emotional, loving, family tone that the original did,” she explains.

Translation: You’ll laugh, you’ll feel nostalgic, and you’ll probably start quoting catchphrases again.

The Cast Feels Like Family (Because They Basically Are)

One of the sweetest parts of the reunion is seeing how close the cast still is after decades.

Jodie Sweetin explains it perfectly:

“We are a family and have been since we started doing the show… and we’ve only gotten closer.”

Honestly, that might be the secret ingredient behind the show’s charm. When the actors feel like a real family, the audience can feel it too.

Also returning to the Tanner universe are familiar faces like:

  • John Stamos
  • Bob Saget
  • Dave Coulier
  • Lori Loughlin
  • Scott Weinger

Basically, if you loved the original show, you’re about to see a lot of familiar faces again.

But… Where Is Michelle?

Of course, one Tanner family member is noticeably missing: Michelle Tanner.

The character was originally played by twins Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen.

Both actresses declined to return for the sequel series, choosing instead to focus on their fashion empire. Even Elizabeth Olsen joked that she wasn’t stepping in either.

Don’t worry though—the show definitely acknowledges Michelle’s absence… with a wink and a few jokes.

So… Can You Go Home Again?

As Dave Coulier wisely says in the featurette:

“They say you can never go back home… but we came back home.”

And that’s exactly what Fuller House feels like—a return to a place that fans never really left.

Final Warning (Yes, This Is Serious)

If you grew up watching Full House, there is now only one responsible thing to do:

Go home.
Turn on Netflix.
And watch Fuller House.

Because some TV families never stop being family—and apparently, neither do their fans.
