CBS releases Young Sheldon season 7 premiere images that show Mary and Sheldon in Germany while the rest of the family deals with the aftermath of the tornado at home. Less than a week ago The Big Bang Theory prequel debuted its final season, marketing for the show is ramping up. New promotional stills from the premiere episode, “Half a Wiener Schnitzel and Underwear in a Tree” tease what to expect from the opener.
The carousel of photos shows a behind-the-scenes image of Zoe Perry and Iain Armitage in between filming their scenes in Germany. Meanwhile, the Young Sheldon season 7 premiere will also focus on the Coopers moving on after the tornado tragedy from the Young Sheldon season 6 finale, with Dale and Meemaw both in George’s house, alongside Mandy and Georgie.
What Else To Expect From The Young Sheldon Season 7 Premiere

Based on the Young Sheldon season 7 synopsis and footage, the premiere will see Mary trying to convince Sheldon that they need to come back to Medford, Texas to help their family recover from the tornado. Unfortunately, Sheldon refuses, convinced that nothing is more important than his studies. It seems like the Coopers are doing just fine back at home, with George even having everyone over for dinner.

One of the most intriguing aspects of Young Sheldon season 7 is Missy’s new expanded role. After a year of rebelling, George and Mary’s only daughter swore that she would behave moving forward. In the premiere, she steps up and proves that she can once again be trusted. This is the best way to handle the character moving forward, considering that her season 6 arc was divisive at best. Missy has always been one of the best characters on the show, and it would be a shame if she was not redeemed before Young Sheldon wraps up.
Elsewhere, Dale staying behind and joining the Coopers may be an indication that he and Meemaw are ready to fully rekindle their relationship. Whether they will be endgame in Young Sheldon is currently uncertain, especially given Dr. Sturgis’ existence. Perhaps if both characters appear in Georgie and Mandy’s spinoff, The Big Bang Theory prequel won’t need to give them a definitive ending.
