Young Sheldon Season 7 Set Video Teases Missy & Georgie Team Up
A brand new video from the set of Young Sheldon season 7 has been shared on social media, and it teases Missy and Georgie teaming up for a storyline.
A Young Sheldon season 7 set video teases Missy and Georgie teaming up. Sheldon may be the central character of The Big Bang Theory prequel, but the show has long outgrown its premise, which means that George and Mary’s other kids have also been focused on. If anything, their storylines are more interesting compared to their genius brother. So, it’s exciting to see that Georgie and Missy may be partnering for Young Sheldon season 7 arc.
Raegan Revord shares a new video on TikTok where she and Georgie actor Montana Jordan are bonding in between takes during Young Sheldon season 7’s production. Watch the clip below:
In the Young Sheldon season 7 set video, the actors are seen lounging on a living room set, but instead of the Cooper home, the pair is sitting on Meemaw’s couch. The video uses different audio, but Revord and Jordan perfectly dub over it.
Will Missy Appear in Young Sheldon’s Georgie and Mandy Spinoff?
Ahead of Young Sheldon’s shortened final season, it was announced that Georgie and Mandy will front a new spinoff. The new series will follow the couple as they navigate parenthood and their romance. So far, only Jordan and Emily Osment are the confirmed cast members, but it will be difficult to do without Missy and Mary. Per The Big Bang Theory canon, Georgie remains tied to his sister and mother after George’s death, since he took over the family’s affair.
If this is the narrative route that the new Young Sheldon show will follow, then it will likely feature Missy. Otherwise, it will break The Big Bang Theory continuity, which is also the reason why the show needs to end despite being TV’s number 1 comedy. Even if this isn’t the case, there’s no drawback to bringing back Revord, considering her popularity. Years of being sidelined also gives the franchise narrative opportunities to further delve into her character.
Despite being called a spinoff, Mandy and Georgie’s show will technically just be a continuation of Young Sheldon. The only difference is that Sheldon will no longer be in Texas and George will already be dead. Aside from those details, it can function as a sequel series, with the remaining Coopers, including Missy, all intact in Medford.
