The series will be multi-camera, bringing it more in line with the traditional sitcom format, unlike Young Sheldon which is single-camera. Since the spinoff will center on Georgie and Mandy, Montana Jordan and Emily Osment will return to their respective roles. On the other hand, it stands to reason that any of the Texas-based Young Sheldon characters could return. With most of the cast of the aforementioned Young Sheldon unlikely to appear, Mandy’s family will need to take center stage and fill in the gaps.It is known from relationship details revealed in The Big Bang Theory that Georgie and Mandy’s ends in divorce, so it is unclear how the new spinoff will tackle such a dark storyline.
