“It’s so cool because growing up, whenever I would see a celebrity or whoever come out as non-binary or queer or anything, I was like, ‘Oh my god, this is so cool. Like, I see myself in you,’” Revord told ET. “And now it’s so crazy to have that experience where I’m now that person. There might be a kid somewhere who’s like, ‘Oh my god, I see myself in you,’ and that’s such an insane thing to think, because I was in that kid’s shoes at some point in my life.”
Revord has played Missy Cooper, the twin sister of Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage née Jim Parsons), since 2017, becoming a guest star on Georgie & Mandy’s first season last year following Young Sheldon’s cancellation. In their interview with ET, Revord said they would always have a special place in their heart for the role.“I love her so much, especially because I view her very much like nine-year-old me […] I’m very protective of Missy,” Revord told ET. “I love her to death. And she is such a fun character to play, and I know her so well. So I will always love to return to Missy.”
