A Bold and the Beautiful alum is one of the cast members. So is an actor fresh off 911: Lone Star.
The Young and the Restless fan favorite Shemar Moore’s return to the small screen just got one step closer. Moore is leading the new S.W.A.T. spin-off, and he’s introducing fans to his latest co-stars.
The Gang Is All Here
Moore used Instagram to let his latest cast members introduce themselves. The Y&R alum kicked off a video reintroducing his S.W.A.T. character.
“You know what time it is. S.W.A.T. Exiles is coming. Shemar Moore in the building, Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson,” the actor declared.
A flip of the scene showed When They See Us star Freddy Miyares as Ethan Cole. Next up was Lucy Barrett, best known for her role on the Charmed reboot, who is playing Samantha “Sammy” Bishop.
Hot off his stint on 9-1-1: Lone Star, Ronen Rubenstein joins S.W.A.T. Exiles as Jude Reddick. La Brea alum Zyra Gorecki is on the S.W.A.T. team as Cassidy Han.
It’s quite a cast that’s for sure. That’s not the only good news for S.W.A.T. fans, either. Moore’s video reveals that filming the S.W.A.T. Exiles has started and even teases a little behind-the-scenes fun.
Former S.W.A.T. stars Jay Harrington (Sergeant David “Deacon” Kay) and Patrick St. Esprit (Commander Robert Hicks) are slated to appear in the premiere episode of the new series. Other cast members may join at some point, but the spin-off is centered around Moore’s character, Hondo.
There is no official premiere date or specific home for the ten-episode series, but with filming underway, a 2026 debut is likely.
