Ethan is back on General Hospital, which is sure to bring new adventure to Port Charles. It is also giving us all the feels of Luke.
Ethan Is So Much Like His Dad
Luke (the late Anthony Geary) had three children: Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), Lulu (Alexa Havins), and Ethan (Nathan Dean). Of the three, Ethan is the one most like his dad.
Luke had an adventurous spirit and a penchant for trouble, but somehow always saved the day. He was a great mix of good and bad, while also so very lovable. He was the essence of the soap. Luke, along with Laura (Genie Francis) saved GH in the late ’70s, and their love story became a worldwide sensation.
There will never be another Luke; he was one of a kind. He is also a character who may be gone, but should never be forgotten. He lives on in Lulu and Lucky during his return, but Ethan is bringing his spirit back. Ethan has a similar devilish grin, and you never know what he might be up to, or if he is good or bad. He is his father’s son.
Ethan’s Relationships
Lulu is thrilled to have her brother back. Their conversation about their father was a delight, and Lulu is taking Ethan in to live with her. It will be interesting to see how he relates to Charlotte (Bluesy Burke) and Rocco (Finn Carr).
His visit with Sonny (Maurice Benard) was interesting. The mob boss was hesitant to give Ethan a job, probably with good reason. Ric (Rick Hearst) is clearly suspicious, but Sonny is giving him the benefit of the doubt only because he is Luke’s son.
Of course, Holly (Emma Samms) is Ethan’s mom. He may be like his dad, but he also has some Holly in him, and she is known for running cons. Ethan is back in town for a reason, and he is probably up to something.
