Donnie Wahlberg reacts to ‘Boston Blue’ Season 2
In conversation with People, Donnie Wahlberg opened up about his excitement regarding the renewal. “I had the pleasure of calling all my castmates and telling them that we were getting a season two,” he shared. “And I did it, and every cast member got tears in their eyes, every single one of them, and so did I. And when I called Jenny [McCarthy] and told her about that, we shared a nice cry.”
The actor further detailed the special moment in which he revealed the news to his costars during an appearance on CBS Mornings. “That reaction—It’s a dream to work with a cast like that that cares that much,” he gushed. “It is a job, it is our livelihood, but sometimes, you just get in the right situation with the right crew who really feel passionate about something, and this group, we’re just blessed.
