Bachelor Nation saw Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple fall in love and get engaged on the very first season of “The Golden Bachelorette.”
Since their time on the show, the two have been spending time together in their respective Hometowns and traveling the world together.
The couple loves to keep fans updated with their lives online, and this week, the former Golden Bachelorette received an A-list celebrity’s mail to her house.
In a new video, Joan revealed that she got a package delivered to her house that was addressed to actress Demi Moore.
She teased, “I immediately called three of my friends and was like, ‘I’m getting Demi Moore’s mail now. I’m like so cool.’ So I thought, ‘Oh, my gosh she’s probably getting my [mail], she probably got my box.’ And she’s probably like, ‘Who the F is Joan Vassos?’”
Joan continued, sharing another fun connection she shares to Demi Moore from years prior.
She said, “I’m taking this opportunity to introduce myself to you Demi, I’ve been a huge fan for a lot of years. In fact, we were actually in a movie together. You were the star of the movie, I was an extra in ‘St. Elmo’s Fire.’ But you know we go way back and now we’re getting each other’s mail, so I just thought I’d say hi again after all these years!”
Joan captioned her post, “Hi @demimoore let me know if you want your package 📦 😂” and then realized that it was actually a PR stunt by the brand Lancôme.
Apparently the brand has been sending PR packages to content creators that were addressed to either Demi Moore or Zoe Saldaña for promotion.
The A-list celebrity posted a video about the boxes on her social media account with a message to anyone who received one, saying, “Finders keepers.”
Joan commented on her post that she fell for the promotion and expressed, “I’m so gullible! That’s hilarious. I can’t believe it and what a great publicity stunt!”
