Hartley offered a few clues as to what viewers can expect when his beloved “rewardist” returns to TV, hinting that fans may finally see some closure surrounding some of Tracker‘s biggest mysteries. “We dive back into the family drama of it,” Hartley told Entertainment Tonight while attending the Golden Globes. “We left a lot of questions, we opened up Pandora’s Box if you will, so we sort of close some of those doors, wrap some of that stuff up.”
But as Hartley and most TV fans can attest, these answers will likely spark several new questions of their own. “Like everything else in life and in TV in good drama, when you close one door, sometimes it opens up five or six windows, so we’ll have a lot more of that,” he continued.
Hartley’s wife, fellow Tracker star Sofia Pernas, who appeared as Colter’s rival survivalist Billie Matalon in Tracker‘s first and second seasons, also shared some of her insights about what’s to come in the action drama. “It’s like a nesting doll of mystery,” she continued, elaborating on her husband’s comments.
“Yeah, let’s go,” Hartley responded to the mention of more potential Tracker seasons.
Tracker‘s Future Episodes May Contain Another Unexpected CBS Crossover
Though Hartley remained tight-lipped on the specifics surrounding the show’s soon-to-air installments, his fellow CBS star Jason Ritter recently shared some ideas of his own. Last fall, the Matlock star shared his concept surrounding a potential crossover between the network’s two hit series, theorizing that Colter would make a good team with his character, attorney Julian Markston.
