Bridget Moynahan is back in the Blue Bloods universe.
The actress, who appeared in all 14 seasons of Blue Bloods from 2010 to 2024, reprises her role of Assistant District Attorney Erin Reagan in the latest episode of Boston Blue as she reunites with her TV brother.
PEOPLE has an exclusive clip from the Friday, May 1 episode of the CBS spinoff, featuring Erin as she walks into an interrogation room to assist Donnie Wahlberg’s Danny Reagan.

The episode, “L’dor Vador,” finds a serial killer in custody hinting at “the whereabouts of a missing child,” per a synopsis from CBS: “Danny teams up with a familiar ally in a tense race against time. Meanwhile, health scares and long‑kept family secrets surface, forcing members of the team to confront personal truths.”
In the clip, fans get a new look at Erin in action as she confronts a man named Abraham, who is accused of kidnapping, raping and murdering someone. “You are not gonna slip through our fingers this time,” Erin tells Abraham.
As detectives enter the interrogation room to escort him out, Abraham refuses. “These detectives won’t escort me anywhere if you hope to find young Lauren before it’s too late,” the suspected killer tells Danny and Erin. “Three weeks ago, Lauren Jackson went missing on Charles River Road.”
When Danny realizes the man is admitting he kidnapped a child in Boston, he throws him against a wall. Abraham calls their routine “good Reagan-bad Reagan.”
“If you want to find Lauren Jackson, you’re gonna play along,” Abraham warns.
Moynahan, 55, previously appeared in the series premiere of Boston Blue back in September, when her character visited Danny’s son Sean (Mika Amonsen) in the hospital. Since then, other Blue Bloods alums have returned, including Det. Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) and Henry “Pop” Reagan (Len Cariou).
Moynahan was announced to be appearing in Boston Blue in July 2025. During a Q&A with costar Sonequa Martin-Green after a screening of the series’ first episode last year, Wahlberg recalled working with Moynahan on Blue Bloods and how he convinced her to join him on the long-running procedural.
“As I read Blue Bloods, I got offered the part of Danny Reagan and I couldn’t imagine anyone in the world playing my sister besides her,” Wahlberg said. “When I called her to ask her to do it, she said, ‘I already passed on that job.’ ”
Wahlberg also called Moynahan “one of the unsung heroes” of Boston Blue and his decision to join the new show. “She gave a real honest conversation and it was no ego involved. It was just my friend and sister talking to me about it and challenging me,” he said.
